Do you take commissions?

Depends. We're very selective with what commissions we take so we can focus on designing future products. Just message us in advance and give us as many details about it as you can so we have something to go off of.

If the request is accepted, there will be a $100 non-refundable design deposit (which covers  time invested in designing the piece and it will be deducted from the final quote). The remaining balance will be paid when we've agreed on the final design and before we order the materials necessary to start creating the piece.


How fast will I receive my order?

Our turn-around time for custom orders is generally 4 months, from the day of the full payment until the piece is complete and ready to be shipped.
Note that this is a soft turn around time and the actual time might be a few days to a week longer/shorter.
If you have a specific date you need the item by, message us in advance and check with us before ordering. Sometimes we're able to rush the order for an added fee.


Why does it take so long to make?

All of our work is handmade and meticulously crafted with a lot of patience and finesse. This makes the process a lot longer than people would expect. The final result is really worth it!

It does not take us months to create the item you ordered, there are just a lot of people ahead of you.
We're working on all items in the order that they are placed. The sooner you order it, the sooner we'll get to it!


My plans have changed and I need my order asap!

In this case, contact us immediately and let us know of the change.
If we're able to take on a rush order at this time, there will be an extra fee for it.
If we're currently unable to rush your order, it will be completed in the original agreed upon time-frame.


Can I pay extra to have my order done faster?

Yes, but it depends on our availability.
If you would like to place a rush order, message us in advance and we'll let you know if we're able to do it in time. There will be a 50% rush charge.


Sizing details

When you order, please make sure to include all the measurements that would be needed for the specific item. (neck circumference, etc.)
We need this information in order to start working on it.


Care instructions

Since most of our work is made from Natural Vegetable Tanned Cowhide, it does require some love over time.
With the right care the leather will "break-in" and become softer and nicer to the touch.
We recommend "Smith's Leather Balm" lightly applied about twice a year in order to keep the leather flexible and protected. Another great option is Neatsfoot oil.
Store your items in a ventilated area away from direct sunlight.
To clean it, just buff with a lightly damp cloth. If needed you may use Saddle Soap and apply a small amount with a wet rag/boars bristle brush, then buff it off with a dry cloth.


Everything is handmade

Since our work is completely handmade it is normal for small differences to be present between items, and this makes them unique.


Cancellations

We do not accept returns for custom orders. Replacements are only accepted in the case of a defect of the material/manufacturing.


Design

For certain items there will be a flat design fee of $100. This includes up to 3 revisions. Further revisions would be an additional $20.

Custom designs are not exclusive. We may at our discretion use a similar design or elements from past work in current projects.
We reserve the right to use images of the work as we wish, publicly showing it in progress and completed.


Import taxes

Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. We are not responsible for delays due to customs.


Later Modifications

 

In the case of needed sizing or modifications to your pieces, we're happy to do it and the price will depend on what the request is.

Manufacturer's warranty

 

In case of a manufacturing defect (normal wear and tear is not considered one) we will happily repair the item as long as you ship it to us first.
